Art Walk At Wilshire

Select a work of art that you have created recently and submit it to Mrs. Guerra to have it included at this event. It can be for show or for sale. It's up to you! Bring your family and friends to enjoy a night of art, music, and refreshments from 6 - 9 p.m. that evening. Admission is free! See you there!

Did you know that the slightest bit of pressure removed from your hand while shading can create a dramatic value range, which will allow the form of your art to "pop" and come to life? Try it out! Give it a try and show me what object you brought to life in your sketchbook. :)
Those Happy Eyebrows

Do you realize that if you raise your eyebrows when you sing, you appear to be smiling, which actually helps you sing on the right pitch? Just as opening your mouth wider when singing helps you stay on tune and helps with projection, those happy eyebrows are key when performing.

Experiential Artistic Opportunities
Art Class (Brea)
5-6 Sessions $210/$250
Create with a variety of media. Learn to draw and paint in different styles inspired by the Masters. Anticipate displaying all of your original work at the Spring Art Show, for friends and family to enjoy!
Art Class (Fullerton) 212 Wilshire Avenue
6 Sessions $250
Learn and refine your drawing skills using graphite, ink, colored pencil, charcoal, and pastels. Create a beautiful painting in the style of a Master. Apply the elements of art and principles of design in your creation. Help prep work for the Spring Art Show.
Musical Theatre (Fullerton)
10 sessions + optional performances $325
Sing, dance, and act and learn all aspects of producing a musical review. Students will perform along with gaining experience in set design, costuming, tech crew and fun marketing for the show. Every student will have the opportunity to be featured performing a work or talent of which they are most passionate along with performing group numbers with the cast in a show for friends and family to enjoy!

May 20-24 or July 15-19. Reserve today! Half day 9:30-12:30 pm $275 Full day 9:30-3:00 pm $350 Showcase & Art Show, May 24 @ 7 pm
Enjoy drawing, painting, dancing, sculpting, baking, acting, and singing! Stay for the full day and gain skills in volleyball and playing the game. On the evening of the last day, celebrate your talents with family and friends in the Arts Showcase!
Meet the Teacher
Cat Dayco Guerra
Cat is a caring and creative credentialed art teacher and artist. She has many years of experience inspiring students of all ages to create to the best of their ability. Over the years, Cat has produced and directed several shows and musicals with accompanying art displays by her talented students. She is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and when she’s not creating, Cat can be found snacking, playing games, or trying a new adventure with her family!
